Recount Writing-At my Dad's Game.

On a hot and sunny Saturday my family and I went to the rugby field in Kaikohe to watch my dad play rugby.

My dad and his team were playing against Moerewa.       

First me and my dad and his team were doing training. They were kicking the ball over the goal while I was at the back catching the ball.  I felt great.

After that the game started and I went on the side of the field. Next my dad nearly scored but then he kicked the ball to his partner. Afterwards it was nearly half time.

I asked my mum, “Can we go to get some lunch?”

Later I  decided to grab a rugby ball and I asked my sisters and brother if they wanted to play rugby. The teams were me ,Maui ,Manawa,vs Jean, Arihia and Charlee.

We chose the captains  and the captains were Maui and Arihia. They did rock paper scissors and my brother won so he said, “It’s your guys kick.”

They kicked real far but I ran super fast to catch the ball.

I ran fast and I pretended that I was going for the try but then I passed it to my brother.
